Logos Hope bookshop on a ship

Logos Hope bookshop on a ship

"Logos Hope", the world's largest bookshop on a ship, is back in Bangkok (Klong Toey port). This seems to be an annual event, I have been last year and went again this year (Saturday 22.02.2014). Entry is 20 THB, there was no queue at the counter. Closest MRT stations are Klong Toey or Queen Sirikit Center, from there estimated half an hour walk (I took bus number 4 from Hua Lampong). The books are new (donations from publishers?), altogether a selection similar to a large bookshop, with books about religious matters over represented (the operator is a Christian charity).

View from the pier, only one floor is accessible to public:

They have wall drawings with religious teachings:

I spent about one hour and bought a book "100 Most beautiful squares of the world" Rebo Publishers for 400 THB. The bookshop was filled with customers, close to maximum capacity (last year I had to queue at the ticket booth).

How did I know about this? I went last year, but forgot about it, until I read:
