Bus ride over Bhumibol Bridge

Bus ride over Bhumibol Bridge

Bhumibol Bridge (สะพานภูมิพล, also known as the Industrial Ring Road Bridge สะพานวงแหวนอุตสาหกรรม) is the most interesting bridge I have seen in Thailand, and best appreciated in real life or with a panorama picture (view from Bang Krachao บางกระเจ้า side).

or video from sky of the bridge (but doesn't show the full bridge) http://www.airpano.com/files/Bangkok/2-3 (video 4)
It's the shortest connection between Sathorn and Bangna area.

There is just one bus (line 195, from Customs Office กรมศุลกากร via Klong Toey market ตลาดคลองเตย to The Mall Tha Phra เดอะมอลล์ท่าพระ) that goes on the bridge (only half, Bhumibhol 1 Bridge, then it follows the epic turnoff).

I planned my trip to Shanghai Free Trade shopping center http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/03/shanghai-free-trade-shopping-center.html to use this bus.

Being on the bus restricts photography, nonetheless it's a spectacular view:

Return trip (coming from Suksawat Road ถนนสุขสวัสดิ์):
