Weekend in Chachoengsao (part 2c: World Sand Sculpture Exhibition)

Update Aug2019: it's gone! There are still traffic signs to the exhibition, but after many years the exhibition was discontinued and dismantled (judging by satellite image).

The largest indoor sand sculpture exhibition of the world. From close, and from observing people working with it, it looks more like a mixture of clay and sand, definitely not the kind of sand I used to build sand castles when I was a child.

World Sand Sculpture is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is 100 Baht for adults and 60 Baht for children. The price is the same for both foreigners and Thais. For further information, call 038-515120.
