Found these in bookshops. They are a bit pricey (180 Baht for 35 pages plus map), but I like the format and the style, so I bought them. There is very little information about them on the internet, so I will fill this gap.
Due to elaborate folding, the map unfolds and folds automatically when you open the last double page (I know similar maps from Europe):
There are more similar guide books, I have seen the one for Wat Pho, but have been looking for "Bangkok & Thonburi" and "Around Bankgok" in vain for two years (they are advertised on the back). Similar for Thai version, I have never seen one, but the copies I have are "English version".
Two mistakes in the Ayutthaya guidebook, correct is:
page 17 Pridi Panomyong (B: 1900 - D: 1983) (not 1988)
page 32 King Taksin (R: 1767 - 1782) (not 1351 - 1369)
Mistakes in Chiang Mai guidebook:
page 6 16.00 p.m. (p is in bold font)
page 15 60,644 aq metres -> sq metrer
