For fear of travel restrictions return to Thailand two days earlier than planned. Online dating in Surin no success.

Bus from Surin to Bangkok. At night Top BFC5in2019 comes to meet me and stays over night.

Top’s alarm 9 am. Our first encounters last year were for free, but now with Covid he or his family has financial problems, so I give him the 1200 THB he asks for. Top out for work during day, back at night and stays over night.

Top gets up at 9, another 1200 THB, I have to keep on eye on this, lest it gets out of control! 

A Thai boy will test a Farang's wallet by asking for gifts in the following order: mobile phone, motorbike, car, house, airplane, aircraft carrier, space station.

Tue17mar2020 Bangkok to Sakaew
With situation unclear (if there will be travel restrictions due to Covid), I don’t want to travel further/longer than 3d2n. Train to Sakaew to meet Bank (my regular there).

Appointment was 20, then moves it to 21, then finally arrives 22:18 after work. But at least there is good communication. Bank to bathroom, then both of us to bed. Great activities as before, but a bit quick as before, we are done 21:55. For me, a good encounter would be at least 1 hour, better 2 hours. If he were more into foreplay and post-coital cuddling, and not mobile phone addicted, he would be a boy friend candidate.

Bank complains about economic situation and asks for 1000 (instead of 500 I gave him before), and he was due to a bonus anyway.

Meet a Burmese boy Paing from hornet in Silom Complex. Then to my room and quickly to bed. Good activities, repeat! He works or used to work in a gogo bar, but asks only for 300 THB.

Sat21mar2020
Top BFC5in2019 arrives 00:15. Sleeps long in the morning, then asks for 1000 for coffee. I don’t drink coffee, and if he has no money for coffee he cannot drink coffee. I give him 500 for travel expenses.

Meet Farang friend for lunch and movie at his place. We didn’t know that that would be our last meal in a restaurant.

All restaurants only take-away, no more dining in restaurant for Corona.

Top arrives 22:06, with luggage to travel home tomorrow, lost his job due to Covid. I give him the 2000 THB he asks for.

Top’s alarm 4:00, then long time in bathroom, bye 5:15.

That means we met 5 times in one month, actually just 10 days, which is a new record. Before I had boys staying for some days, but they didn’t leave to go to work and come back after work.

A boy Tam from hornet comes to meet me. A bit on the fat and hairy side. But nonetheless, quickly to bed. Skilled oral and perfect warm and dry skin, but I can’t get hard. No repeat.

With unclear situation (Covid) I don’t want to travel far or long, but Pattaya is due for a visit anyway. Call bus station: buses are running. Pack for Pattaya.

But then a Thai friend comes to my room which delays my departure, and he shows me a video that state of emergency will be declared on Thursday. If there are travel limitations, I don’t want to be stuck in Pattaya, cancel my trip. In hindsight a mistake.

I have an appointment with a boy TorCP on hornet from nearby for 500, no show.

Decide to return to Germany and book a flight for 38.950 THB (finnair, economy, twice as expensive as before Covid).

A boy BeeBee from hornet comes to meet me. Good English, no character flaws, good in bed but cold skin throughout, I can’t get hard but he cums twice. Maybe repeat.

Mickey Lao comes to my room. Usually he stays in Pattaya, but today has business in Bangkok. I have a good time with him in bed. He is due for a bonus, today give him 2000 (before 1000).

At night another attempt with TorCP (no show on 24mar). I pick him up 22:15 on main road, very cute! English okay. Qickly to bed, good activities and gorgeous body. I had sex only 5 hours before, and he looked straight (and I thought “bottom” in his profile is a mistake), so foreplay and no cum would have been fine for me. Covid-19 in the news (1) March-April 2020

A collection of links to news about Covid-19. Mostly Thailand centric and a few from elsewhere. 

When I left Thailand on 1apr2020, I was optimistic that I would be back now (aug2020). Now I regret that I didn't stay.

But when I booked and boarded my flight, I didn't know there would be a visa amnesty. My prospects were the following: spending one day and 1900 THB to submit an application for extension of stay, one day to pick it up, and the rest of the month in my room (estimated 2000 THB for electricity for aircon), with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Food from restaurants for take home. I can have the same in Germany, for cheaper, without visa worries!

Only after I left, the first visa amnesty came around. And the following visa amnesties were short notice, I would have worried for weeks if and how to leave Thailand.

But still: I got out, I can stay at my parents' place for free and enjoy entertainment not just in Germany, even Europe (one trip done already, more planned). Other don't have money for food or for rent, I just have to fill my spare time.

Unusual Temples in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh doesn't hold much of interest for me. The same is true for whole of Cambodia. I have been there six times only because it's close to Bangkok, easy to get to by land or by air, boys are nice, and two of the visits were on the way to/from Vietnam.

I thought I had covered everything of interest in Phnom Penh (Central Market, Tuol Sleng prison, Royal Palace, Wat Phnom, architectural walk; gay saunas, massages, bars) in previous visits. But on a recent trip, I found two interesting temples:

Golden Temple and Boat Temple (for lack of Cambodian language I call them this way, the Golden Temple is on google maps as Mongkol Serei Kien Khleang Pagoda វត្ត​មង្គល​សិរី​គៀនឃ្លាំង and the Boat Temple as Wat Sampov Treileak Temple វត្តសំពៅត្រៃល័ក្ស)

They are located on the peninsula between Tonle Sap river and Mekong river and can be reached by Grab for a few USD from central Phnom Penh. Brown Bus (line 6 ?) passes Golden Temple, but as brown line starts at Old Stadium Roundabout which is out of town as well, this was of no use to me.

Golden Temple

Gets its name from being mostly painted in gold. Outer walls are covered in a bas-relief depicting life of Buddha.
