Online train booking on dticket: you have to spell the stations their way (Sri Saket only as Si Sa Ket, Bangkok only as Krung Thep Aphiwat, both not found in different spelling) and slow loading and error messages. Their app works better. There is no seat in 2nd class all the way from Bangkok to Sri Saket, but Bangkok to Korat and Korat to Sri Saket (different seat number). This trip is way out of my comfort zone anyway, and I prefer not to travel 3rd class and I'm hesitant to go through all this trouble, and it would cost more because a base fare is charged twice.
