Wed22oct2025 Bangkok to Pattaya
As usually, bus 46 and then Roong Rueang bus to North Pattaya Bus Station. Songtheos in bus station want 50 THB to go to Walking Street. When I cross the road, I can get a passing for 10. However, in the past average waiting time over 10 minutes, and sometimes they only go to Dolphin Roundabout and I have to change into another, again 10 THB.
Today I waited in vain for 25 min and then called a Bolt for 55 THB. By the time Bolt arrived, 30 minutes without a regular songtheo passing. Due to uncertain waiting time, and uncertain if I have to change at Dolphin Roundabout to another, and then walk 550 m to my hotel from South Pattaya intersection, in future take Bolt.
Price comparison: Bolt Basic 55, Priority 83 (Faster pick ups, 30% voucher applied on full fare 118); Grab Saver Car 74, Standard 99, Uber no rides available. Motorbikes available.
Update 19jan2026:
On North Pattaya road opposite bus station no songtheo 17:28-46, first waiting in vain, then calling Bolt mocy 25 THB to Tuk-Com.
