Gay saunas Saigon
An overview of gay saunas and massage in Saigon and Danang and Nha Trang (but not Hanoi, I haven't been recently). No gay hotels or bars, not my area of interest. This post just names, address, coordinates, websites. Details about visits separately in gay activities of the month. Addresses and phone numbers from google maps or their website. A few general notes on saunas.
Massage is only a side business for me, I haven't done any this trip. I just list those covered by shamelessmack and link to his excellent reviews. Read there for general information as well.
There are places with similar names, misleading names (sauna/spa/massage), just sauna, just massage, or sauna and massage. All places I have been to with coordinates because it has happened several times that I found places on google maps in the wrong location.
A general note on temperatures. From places that have a thermometer, I can estimate temperatures at places that don't and call them the following: sauna off (room temperature = 30 C), luke warm 50 C, warm 70 C, hot 90 C. If someone opens the door to a luke warm or warm sauna, the entering air with room temperature would feel cold on your skin. Jacuzzi off 30 C (feels cold), warm 35-38 C, hotter would be specifically labelled with temperature.

Sauna is free in combination with massage, or 100k only sauna. But I'm looking for a gay sauna, and not massage with attached sauna, there will be no other customers. Run by the same people behind De.Soi9 Sauna, The SixtyNine Zone is a popular gay sauna that holds regular themed days for bears, students, etc. Spread out over two floors there's a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, and even a private play space called “The Tiger Cage Area” – phwoar!!! The SixtyNine Zone is located at 39/3 Pham Ngoc Thach Street and is open every day from 11 am-11 pm.

However, in 5 trips to Vietnam and about 10 boys in my room, never had a problem.
Subscribe to Blued VIP (3 months for 10.99 EUR). That gives me unlimited profile views and I can see who looked at my profile. But still advertising and no read receipt. That would be Blued X (3 months for 15.99 EUR). I tried to subscribe before, when I was in Vietnam or Cambodia, but payment failed.

Sauna can sit 5 and stand 3. Has hourglass for 15 min ? but I have to get close to see remaining time in poor light. Steam room can sit 8 and stand 5, and standing room only when I arrive.
2nd floor has 8 private rooms and 2 group rooms. The private rooms have holes in the door so others can watch?
3rd floor group rooms and balcony.
Smoking in locker room. One small towel. Everyone nude (not shy, Thai would hold their hands or towel in front of privates). One with face mask. About 50 customers during my stay. One shapely but not interested.
When I arrive, mocy parking attendant grabs my ass, a good start. I barely make it to shower when other customers descend on me: one washing my back, one playing with my nipples, and grabbing my balls from behind. Last time I got that much attention was when I was born. Some follow me during my tour through the premises, but none of them my type so I cover my genitals with my hands to avoid grabbing, wanking, sucking.
Second most intense sauna visit (after a gay sauna in Hanoi in 2016), the Vietnamese are certainly not shy! Some can be persistent, to the extent that it gets annoying.

1st = ground Himalaya stone salt luke warm, confirm salt by licking. IR sauna luke warm (one 250 W IR light bulb). Traditional herb sauna switched off. Sauna hot 75 C, the seats and wall are of synthetic material, not wood. Steam room warm. Jacuzzi room temperature (i.e. water feels cold, strong bubbles in center).
2nd rooms light okay. Music too loud.

100k entry Galaxy Sauna 17:58, brimming despite rain. To steam room, wipe glass to see who is passing. A cute and slim, comes into steam room. Have a few gropes, no reaction. Leaves to sauna but comes out soon and goes to Jacuzzi. I join him there, have some gropes and tentative reply. Foreplay in Jacuzzi, then leads me to a room. I take shower and follow. In room light, sound, fan okay. Skin temperature and color okay. Here we exchange first words “Do you speak English” - “A little”, but no need for more. Good activities, exchange social media to meet again. During the rest of my stay two more worth a second look. Emptying when I leave 20:08. Count 27 mocy. “No smoking” sign in locker room. Poor WiFi in locker room. Better in hallway, but there smoking. Flip-flops good surface, do not irritate my feet. Positives: Steam and sauna hot. Enough light everywhere. Customers not shy.

50k entry Soi 9 Sauna (Happy hour extended?) 17:14-18:25. About 5 customers. 2 small towels, other customers manage to overlap them so they can wear them around waist, whereas I go nude. Big pile of towels in locker room, you can take more. Get locker 4 of 96, big lockers. No condom or lube provided. Music too loud.
Basement motorcycle parking.
1st floor cashier, lockers.
2nd floor steam room warm, can sit 10 and stand 10, glass wall. Group shower for 4. Jacuzzi can sit 10, strong bubbles in center. Resting area.
3rd floor group rooms too dark. 3 small private rooms light okay.
4th floor rooftop garden. 4 big private rooms with massage table with mattress with face well.
Free cold drinking water, single-use plastic cups.
Nothing to gain here, play on phone to pass time, then guess rain won't stop any time soon, leave with raincoat in light rain.
On the way pass a sign “SAUNA89E” that leads into a dead-end alley, looks like someone's front yard but parking attendant invites me in and indeed it's a sauna. Suoi Tien theme park in Saigon
I have little interest in theme parks in Europe or Thailand. The usual stuff (roller coaster, water park, zoo) is of no interest to me. But this one in Saigon is Buddhism themed and has various huge statues of religious and mythological creatures and interesting buildings. Some of them are religious buildings.
On the north-eastern outskirts of Saigon, easily accessible by various bus routes and soon by metro. There are bilingual maps posted in the park and at entrance I got a bilingual paper map. The map is distorted, to squeeze the park which is roughly 250 m wide and 1 km deep, into a square format. During my stay (weekday morning to afternoon about 5 hours), there were only dozens of other visitors and hundreds of staff. Several parts (Ferris wheel, water park) closed for maintenance.
Entry is 150k VND. That gives access to most of the park, but some individual attractions cost extra. There are combo tickets that include various individual attractions, but I didn't know what would be of interest to me, so I paid for entry to the park 150k VND and individual attractions separately. 1 EUR = 25k VND.
There is free WiFi in the park, but you would have to register with phone number and receive a code by SMS. Whereas at the Mini Mart outside free WiFi without registration, and a point to get some food and drink before or after. There are plenty of restaurants inside the park, where I had a look, it was for self-cooking as a family activity.

Many more, total 62 points on their map. After 5 hours I felt well entertained for my money (150k VND entry and 250k VND on various individual attractions) and skipped some.

Marine scientists say some areas in the Gulf of Thailand have more than 10 times the normal amount of plankton, turning the water a bright green and killing off marine life.
Plankton blooms happen one or two times a year and typically last two to three days, experts say. They can produce toxins that harm the environment, or they can kill off marine life by depleting the oxygen in the water and blocking sunlight.
However, water at Wongamat, South Pattaya and Jomtien looks the same as always to me, and density of fluorescent plankton same as I remember from before. Seems I'm a few days late to the party!

Most doors automatic, you have to touch a button to open door. All areas well lit. I didn't notice any gay activities (there are no suitable areas on ground floor anyway) and I thought “men only” does not mean “gay” in this case, customers didn't even look at each other.
2nd floor (dry, admittance only in bathrobe) has 8 private cabins with light (can only switch on and off, but could hang a towel over lampshade to dim light) and group relaxation rooms, and here finally I spotted two customers in a position/activity that cannot be misinterpreted.
