Three hotels in Poipet are full, finally get a room for 600 THB (room prices are in THB and I pay THB) that would cost 400 at most in Thailand. Nobody comes to Poipet for fun, nobody comes at all if he can avoid, hotels can charge such prices. Poor WiFi in my room, I have to sit at reception to do my business.

My messages on facebook and email not answered. Call the number from facebook +855 15 xxx 746, the receiver speaks good English, but wrong number. I have to go to the location that is marked on google maps (from above links I got coordinates for three places, all close together).

Can't get someone on passapp. Bolt not operating here, Grab loading unreasonably long. Walk around to find mocy or tuktuk (when you need one, you have to look for them). First one no English and doesn't know how to use map on mobile. Second similar, but we get an app where we see our location and I can pinpoint my destination. I show him 7k7 fare and directions on passapp. However, he doesn't have navigation, only our location and direction and destination. Walk around to take pictures and breakfast. As on two previous visits, I have seen enough of Poipet for the rest of my life. Buses to Siem Reap too early or too late for me.

But agency in front of my hotel offers shared taxi for 12 USD, I pay 8:57, dep 9:04 with 3 passengers, pick up one more. Costs about the same as bus, flexible time, pick up at hotel. Next time I travel Bangkok to Siem Reap, I will skip a night in Poipet and get a shared taxi to SR!

One of the lady passengers (via the man in front seat, good English) asks for my telegram (or Line, but better give telegram because everyone I have there is in Cambodia). Later when I'm out of car, asks if we can date for girlfriend. I tell her I like boys. Such thing has never happened to me before! Filed as missed, if she were a boy, we could get into business.

Stay in Reaksmey Chanreas Hotel as last time, I'm happy with this place. Positives: location, price 20 USD, bathroom sink in table, desk and chairs, wardrobe, aircon and hot water working (from a small tank in bathroom) well, visitors can directly go to room. Flip-flops for use in room provided. Negatives: it seems only twin rooms available (but each bed wide enough for two, I can easily do my business on the single bed), single glazing windows (noise from Pub Street can be heard), shower in bathtub and shower curtain. Poor water pressure. Mosquitoes (they come in during cleaning, when door to hallway is left open), slippery door mat for bathroom. WiFi poor signal and outages.

Afternoon I invite an old acquaintance LyHeng to my room. Quickly to bed. Did he get a bit of a belly? But back and shoulders and ass still great shape. Overall, I had a great time in Siem Reap! I rarely go for sightseeing, just office days and boys. Boy-wise, better than Pattaya and even some for free!

Still not over the theft, but can't spend the rest of my time in Cambodia in self-pity.

Hao comes to my hotel. Arrives with mask, but even with mask positive impression of face. A bit on fat side, but cute, brown, warm dry skin. Quickly to business. Body okay, good activities. File as repeat, but little chance as I have regulars who are a better match, and looking for new boys who are a better match. 40k for Passapp return trip (18k6 to come here, 6 km on grindr).

At former Golden Sorya Mall (now empty plot of land, corrugated iron wall) smell of pee, garbage, and two homeless with a blowtorch and glass tubes. Making a bong? They didn't let me take a picture. Homeless drug addicts glassblowing. Unbelievable!

I'm still not over the theft. I have several regulars in Phnom Penh that I wanted to meet, but fortunately didn't tell any of them, because after the theft I was not in the mood. But I'm in the mood to meet someone new, how is that possible? Instead of one week of boy business and computer work and travel, one week of depression and misery. If I can get hold of the thief, I will make sure he has a miserable time as well, and not just one week!
