Quiz: What is this?
Recently seen in Cambodia in a plantation and on a market.
Solution in a week. There is no prize.
Solution/update: cashew nuts and cashew apple. Only after leaving Kampong Thom, I read on wikipedia which says that the cashew apple is soft and deteriorates quickly during transport, that's why I haven't seen any elsewhere, only here close to plantation. It's edible, and two well-travelled friend have eaten it, but I missed this chance!
Update: Some more in Kampot, and here I ate them and they taste good.
