I get a message on Hornet: If you are here for the first time, be careful, the community here has its own peculiarities. Photos in profiles are almost always someone else's, and often they are sent by someone else. Many ask for photos, but don't send them in return. Ideally, make a video call to make sure who is in front of you. They practice setups and blackmail here, but usually they do this less often with foreigners, since there are fewer levers of pressure. Sending intimate photos only disappearing, they can be used to distribute pornography. Up to 80% of the guys in the application are married. Lots of correspondence, few real meetings. Ordinary locals are quite friendly and helpful. And you can find good people in the application, but it isn't that easy. Take care of yourself and welcome!

There is a general sauna and steam “Lechebno-Ozdorovitel'nyy Kompleks Zhyrgal Лечебно-Оздоровительный Комплекс Жыргал”. Loincloth (about 1.5 m x 1.5 m, like a tablecloth) provided. Fold in half, gets wet, of no use as towel. I brought my own towel. Flip-flops provided. Undress under towel/cloth in locker room, later nudity where appropriate.

Massage rooms attached to locker room, no details (nothing posted and I saw nothing). Open shower and benches in big central room. Steam room can sit 20, wood, hot. One glaring light on wall below ceiling, have to shield my eyes when sitting across. Elsewhere light good. Dry sauna can sit 20, all concrete or brick, painted white, now beige. Hot, light okay. No thermometer, hygrometer or clock anywhere.

Pool under dome. Access vault and pool irregular blue tiles (three shades of blue) and whale mosaic. Air cool and water estimated 15 C. Interesting echo and occasionally gurgling sound of drain. All this (light, temperature, sound) create an atmosphere I have never experienced before.

Over 20 customers throughout my stay. During my stay cumulative about 50. Of which 3 minors (5-15), a few 18-30, but most old. No tattoos. Next to showers two tables for scrub (with scrub glove, performed by staff). I can see black cylinders forming from customer's skin. In steam sauna flogging with oak twig rackets, either customer flogs himself with one racket or staff does it with two rackets. I tried, main sensation is hot. When others flog, water splashes around and hot feeling from movement of air.

Distance of 12th profile: Hornet 760 m, Grindr doesn't show distance, only for 19th profile do I get < 10 km away, HeeSay 6 km, Romeo 1.7 km (placed last because some online long ago)

My German friend GF was out alone and met a local student LS who studies German. They agreed to meet again for dinner, and LS brought a friend and I join as well. When I join for dinner, I thought both of them cute. After a few sentences of introduction, LS asked: “Darf ich eine persönliche Frage stellen? Seid Ihr verheiratet?”, in English: “May I ask a you personal question? Are you married?” which is as ambiguous in English as in German. The first thing I thought of is “married to each other” as in gay marriage. But later it turned out, he meant if each of us has a wife.
