Wat Phra Prang Muni

Wat Phra Prang Muni in Singhburi province
วัดพระปรางค์มุนี จังหวัดสิงห์บุ

In Singhburi province, on the Eastern side of highway 32 (the main highway from Bangkok to Chiang Mai) at km 82, a very peculiar spire raises out of the forest. I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere. It belongs to Wat Phra Prang Muni which holds some other treasures as well.

Thanks to a Farang friend for aerial pictures by drone:

We missed this following beautiful view. Anyway, the Buddha faces North, so would have to wait for a cloudy day to get such a picture:

The reclining Buddha seen from upper level of building with spire:

On satellite image, the length of the base is 39 m. Nowadays I have a better way to measure length: count the number of tiles on floor and multiply by length of one tile.
