Gay saunas in Bangkok 2016

Currently there are 25 gay
saunas in Bangkok Metropolis (some in neighboring provinces Samut Prakan,
Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani). I have been to all of them (sounds amazing, but
gregvc and pong seem to have been to all saunas that ever existed in Bangkok,
but cannot present their observations in a comprehensible form).
Five places that recently closed
(in 2014 and 2015), arrow indicates change of name:
Bangkok Ten -> Fab in Si
Phraya,
Sukhothai -> Cruising II -> Out in Sukhothai road,
Gaya -> Hijack -> S Sauna between Pahonyothin Soi 37 and 37/1,
Adonis in Ladprao 112,
d.blu in Sala Daeng.

Usually change of name does
not bode well, permanent closure is imminent. EDOK -> Phoenix near Taksin
soi 14 is
the only exception.
One new place Waterboy Onsen วอเตอร์บอยออนเซ็น opened in 2015 (first facebook entry 17 Aug 2015) in Rama 2 Soi 19.

Beach Resort Klongtan raised entry from 99 to 119 Baht (every day, every time) from 1st March 2016.
Since Songkran 2016 (my assuption, don't know exactly), Seed has an inflatable pool in ground floor. It's filled with water, but I haven't seen it in use. I wouldn't be surprised if it disappeared when they finally clean up after their Songkran party (28apr2016 still used crockery standing around in locker room).
In Deja Vu during their events and in MachoX free toast with jam as long as lasts. 39 underground free cookies throughout.

Delete3rd time at waterboys onsen. 2 other guys who left by 8pm. Long way to go to be on your own. Soi 19, Rama 2.

Looking for the Silom options, maybe I shall visit sonewhere like "Sauna Mania" sometime, when I don't quite have enough time to walk down to Babylon.
Google didn't find MenFac. Where is it ? There is a Men Factory, which google shows as closed.
Center for distances is Malaysia hotel. MenFac is abbreviation for Men Factory (now closed according to comments, not a loss in my opinion). This information is in one of my previous Bangkok sauna overviews.

ReplyDeleteYou were right. Men's Factory is closed for relocation. Many sacks of cement block the entrance. The building is empty
