All conversation took place in Thai, my translation behind.
A few convenient changes in spelling for faster typing:

Notice the huge delays in conversation in the first stages. Chat in the morning, trying to set up a date in the afternoon, then days without reply.
Later the absurdest requests: holiday at the sea, pay for gym for him and his brother, and pay for shoes as well, without having met before.
And keep in mind that I chat mainly to set up a date (with Farang friends or boys I know already, it's largely restricted to "Where and when?"). That means the entire below conversation was just to get the boy to give me a place and a time where I could meet him!
Reminds me of something I read in the newspaper: a toddler accidentally locked himself in a car and the adults outside made signs to him to pull the lever to open door or window. It didn't work, in the end they had to smash a window to get him out. That's how I felt.
But the pictures on hornet looks very promising:
There are some traits of mental retardation (that's politically correct for: he is a half-idiot): he brings up stuff I thought we had established long ago. It's like a broken record. Every day, you start at zero. And stuff that can only be discussed after meeting in real life.
Can it be true that an 18-year-old does not want sex, only boyfriend? Has he been warned of people like me? Has he spent the previous years sleeping with a different boy each night and became bored of this?
Then after excruciatingly slow and long conversation, I take taxi to the place he sent. Location is correct (I will find out later, at the time being have to assume there might be inaccuracies), but he isn't there. After 15 minutes walking around in the midday heat (umbrella for sun protection in one hand, mobile in the other), we meet exactly at the point he sent me. Not overly handsome, but wouldn't throw him out of bed. Chat with him and his brother, then invite them to lunch. They are not hungry, so I eat alone and chat. Then the common:
Where do you want to go next?
I don't know. And you?
I don't know either.
I invite them to Central Rama 3 (for ice cream or cake or whatever), but he wants to shower first and will follow later. (I doubt that and I was right.) Spend and hour at Central Rama 3 (on the weekend afternoon it is brimming with cute boys, but now not busy), then I learn he cannot come because he will go to the gym.
The day before we met I agreed to pay gym membership 900 Baht for him and his brother. Now I didn't want this to take the following path:
Nice to meet you, did you bring the money?
Thank you, good bye!
Usually I have several thousand Baht in cash with me, but for this meeting I leave just 300 Baht in my wallet, so I can show him and tell him I don't carry that much (900 Baht) with me. But he didn't bring this up during our conversation, no money changed hands.
It has been a long time that I have spent that much time chatting and achieved that little. Now the question is: continue (and maybe get a free fuck out of this, if you can call it free after all the effort) or abort? Invite the boy for sightseeing with over night in a hotel in a neighboring province?
