I have never come across (nor have heard of) Gold Apple (Diospyros decandra, ลูกอินลูกจัน) before, so when I saw them at Taling Chan Floating Market, I had to inquire and try one.
I tried one of the yellow (ripe and soft, 5 Baht). The saleslady peeled off the skin, the flesh was reminiscent of peach.
