pictures I took of Wat Amarawararam (Wat Amara Wararam).
The
gates were locked, so I couldn’t climb on it and couldn’t go on the roof
terrace of the neighboring building (for a better view), so here a link to

How did I know about this place? From the book “The must see
sites in Bangkok” (Bangkok Metropolian Tourist Bureau, Export-Import Bank of
Thailand).
Useless information: Wat Amarawararam วัดอมราวราราม
has as many a’s (6) as the Royal Barge Anantanakkharat เรือพระที่นั่งอนันตนาคราช
(in Thai it’s a mix of short a, long a, non-written a).

Update 15.02.2014: The official name of Wat Phra Kaew is Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram (วัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม), which has 7 a's.
